What?
Embark on an exciting journey with Hack on the Beach, a fully inclusive 24-hour hackathon experience. Immerse yourself in a dynamic environment where participants take on entertaining challenges presented by our amazing partner companies. Beyond the thrill of problem-solving, the event offers the chance to win exciting prizes and guarantees a good time for all involved. A brunch is also offered on sunday. To join this you will have to buy a different brunch ticket.
Who?
Any current university student is welcome! Whether you're a beginner or an experienced individual, the hackathon welcomes all levels of expertise. Partner companies provide challenges for participants to solve. They foster a collaborative environment where students can showcase their skills and creativity.
When?
Mark your calendars for the 6th and 7th of June as we invite you to join us at TU Delft X for an exhilarating two-day event. The excitement kicks off on Saturday morning, extending all the way through Sunday evening. To enhance your experience, we've got dinner covered, and sleeping over at the venue is an option. Across these two days, participants will have a dedicated 24 hours to collaboratively tackle and solve a challenging case.

Who can attend?
Any student can attend HackDelft.
How can I sign up for HackDelft?
The tickets will be available soon!
What languages can I use during the event?
You can use any language or tool you want during the event!
I don't have a group yet. Can I still sign up?
Of course! You can use the discord to find others still searching for a group. Haven't found a group yet on the day itself? No problem we can help you find a group during the event.
What is the maximum group size?
There is a limit of four participants per group. Don't know who joins you yet? You can form your groups later, or even at the event itself.
What if I've never been to a hackathon before?
HackDelft is a very beginner friendly hackathon, so that is no issue! At the start of the hackathon we will explain how the weekend works, after which you can start hacking with your team.
Can I start working on my submission before the event begins?
No, this is not allowed. The challenges will also not be announced before the event starts.
How much will it cost to attend HackDelft?
If you are a CH member tickets will be € 1,69-, and non-CH members will have to pay € 3,69−. If you also want to attend the brunch on Sunday you will have to buy a brunch ticket for € 1,-
What do I need to bring to the event?
You will have to bring your laptop, some chargers, and an air mattress with sleeping bag if you intent to sleep. Some hygiene items will also be appreciated by other hackers.
Do you provide any travel reimbursement?
Unfortunately, we do not provide any travel reimbursement. We hope to see you at the event regardless!
